Design, functionality, sustainability and beauty: the Tapì Group’s creative and innovative concept

With our 20 years of experience in the sector, here at Tapì we are very much geared towards of the concepts of design, functionality, sustainability and beauty. Unique closures designed specifically for the products they will be sealing. A beauty that sets apart every single seal, created to enhance each and every component of the packaging.

Tapì’s new Brand Architecture is rooted in these concepts, expressed through the following tagline:

“Uniqueness inside, beauty on top.”

“Uniqueness”, linked to our customers’ products which we carefully seal with all of our heart, “beauty” as an aesthetic and functional concept inherent in our packaging-enhancing design creations.

A new identity that amplifies not only the brand as a whole, but also the Business Units that make up Tapì today:

  • Tapì Collection is a perfect blend of design, innovation and quality materials;
  • Tapì Signature, which embodies elements of style, prestige and elegance;
  • Tapì Revò, the creative workshop which studies and develops new product and service solutions, with the focus on practicality and environmental sustainability.

Three separate – yet perfectly complementary – business units, each of which helps create little jewels for the spirits, wine, oil and condiments, beer and cosmetics sectors. Daily innovation that enables us to anticipate the trends of a constantly-evolving packaging market.

The Tapì group, in which Wise Equity SGR has a holding interest, is continuing on its course towards internationalization with the launch of its new global branding platform.

From today, Tapì is going for a new look, with a new coordinated image that expresses design, innovation and a focus on a constantly evolving market. Another step up in a long journey towards excellence and the internationalization of our brand.

In a new strategic operation, as we begin 2019, we decided to adopt a new Global Branding platform aiming to harmonize our brand architecture and increase our brand recognition, as well as our brand awareness, on the global market. One small step that reflects the giant strides we have taken as a constantly evolving international group.

A new logo, new website, new communication guidelines, a review of our business units and the TapInk project – these are just some of the elements of Global Branding here at Tapì. A new opening towards our main market – premium beverages.

Édition Spéciale by Luxe Pack: Tapì will be flying to Paris

On the 4th and 5th of June, we will be flying to Paris to take part at the Édition Spéciale of Luxe Pack, a renowned European trade fair for luxury packaging, with a focus on sustainability.

This year, as well as amazing and dazzling visitors’ aesthetic sensibilities, the exhibition stands will not only be focussing on how to create elegant refined packaging. The Parisian trade fair will be aiming to create a wow effect above all for the benefits it can provide for the environment.

Of the 60 companies selected for Édition Spéciale, the packaging projects that will be exhibited at Le Carreau du Temple will be those which, in addition to enhancing the shape of some of the finest products around, also come up with solutions and innovations for those who value ecology and the well-being of the environment above all else.

Here at Tapì, we’re getting ready to grace the event with our solutions, which include Abor, a new concept in green design which aims to develop new ways for the distillates market to return to its origins, respect for Mother Earth and her resources. The idea underlying Abor is to re-use the waste materials from distillation to create communicative and eco-sustainable closures. An original idea for enhancing the origins of the product and those of the terroir in which it was conceived.

We can’t wait to get to Paris to provide you with all the information you might need! We look forward to seeing you at Édition Spéciale by Luxe Pack.

Packaging is about more than just aesthetics – how to change point of view in the wine sector

Packaging is about more than just aesthetics – how to change point of view in the wine sector

It’s commonly believed that packaging is simply the art of enclosing a product in order to display it to the public, concentrating solely and exclusively on its looks and shape, though this fails to take into account the many other qualitative and distinctive features that go to make up the product itself.

Packaging is not just a matter of aesthetics, which is why we put on an event focussing on this concept together with our partners Laffort and with the Spazio Di Paolo design studio. Within the renowned walls of Gruppo Italiano Vini’s Cantina Bolla, on the 18th of April, we discussed beliefs both old and new about packaging in the wine sector.

The message we all took home was the need to go beyond mere shape, in order to understand what role packaging plays and what makes it one of the most important and effective tools for communicating the qualities of the wines we sell to the market.

World Spirits Conference: the event according to Tapì

On Thursday 28th March, the prestigious halls of the London-based historic military corps, known as the Honourable Artillery Company, were filled with spirit at the World Spirits Conference.

A commercial gathering it may have been, but nevertheless it was decidedly intoxicating, spreading like wildfire among the distillates experts, leading to a wide range of speeches and presentations dedicated to the spirits industry.

The event featured a number of leading international exponents as well as Tapì, who were event sponsors, providing a unique opportunity to put our finger on the pulse of the global market, take stock of the situation and discuss tactics and strategies that would help render the production, supply and marketing of high-quality distillates even more efficient.

From production to design, from marketing to management for sales, no stone was left unturned. Every detail regarding the distillates sector was analyzed, tasted, refined on the basis of our traditional and potential target audiences and the products served in a classic London style while still being open to new research and experimentation.

Overall, the World Spirits Conference provided further confirmation that it is one of the most important and high-profile events, ensuring that we produce spirits that will always pass muster when raising one’s glass in a toast to quality.

Purity: the characterful closure for refined wines

The discreet, refined character of the Purity line is what enables it to successfully reflect the qualities of the wine that it seals. Made with the most advanced technologies, the closures in this range are truly cutting-edge, made without any glue or other potentially harmful chemicals that might compromise the quality of a wine, by altering its colour, flavour and/or aroma.

The risk of a wine being affected by a traditionally-made cork has thus been averted for ever. The Purity line’s solution lies in its unique, pure cap, manufactured using over-injection moulding, with head and leg in a clear synthetic material.

The Purity closure signed by Tapì is designed specifically to properly and safely preserve any type of wine and distillate, but of course it also needs to please the eye. Using clear synthetic materials means that colours and flavours can first of all be enjoyed with the sense of sight and can be customized exclusively so as to bring out the qualities intrinsic to the nectar of the gods.

In practice, the Purity line has its own character because it regards simplicity, customization and innovation as key to enhancing the nobility of any wine that, once poured out and sipped, will continue to express its noble essence.

T-mix: Tapì’s new mini-pourers for the condiments sector

Small pourers dedicated to high-quality condiments, Tapì’s new Mini T-Mix range for the world of oil and condiments was specifically designed for sealing smaller bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Mini Tmixes come in different materials and sizes. So the leg can be 13, 14 or 16 mm in length, with either a wooden or a synthetic head.

The new Tapì Mini T-Mix range is the solution to an issue which often comes up, of the best way to close smaller packaging. For example, very often, balsamic vinegar producers are forced to use a T-cap for their bottles. Mini Tmix is a pourer which can perfectly seal any smaller bottle, giving the packaging a very personalized look, as there are so many different ways of customizing the closure.
