Monnet Cognac selects a custom closure for its new XXO spirit

With a history dating back to 1838, Monnet Cognac is famous for its small-scale production of its delectable superpremium spirits. The salamander is this brand’s symbol, highlighting the key parallel between the creature’s ability to survive in fire and cognac’s distillation process which demands heating.

One of the most prestigious products made by the company is without a doubt Monnet XXO Cognac. The XXO acronym stands for Extra Extra Old, a category recognised by the BNIC, Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac, which stipulates that the youngest spirit used in a blend must be at least 14 years old.

To enhance this spirit’s exquisite nature, Monnet has chosen a refined bottle with soft, elegant lines and to seal and preserve its aromatic nose with a customised closure from the SCR Wood range from Tapì.
