Produced in Charente-Maritime by the Tigre Blanc Group, Bartolomeo^® is a gin with a surprisingly spicy freshness. The name harks back to Portuguese explorer Bartolomeu Dias, whose travels opened up trade routes with the Orient, and to the import of spices across the sea. The design of the bottle is inspired by azulejos, the decorated tiles typical of Portuguese architecture. Its unfinished wood closure, created by Tapì, recalls two notable symbols of maritime exploration – the caravel and the astrolabe, which are both engraved on its head.
