Wood

W-Mix’s wood finish for the new olive oil from Château d’Estoublon

Domaine d’Estoublon is nestled in the heart of Provence, on the southern slopes of the Alpilles mountains, and is steeped in a wealth of Roman heritage shared by the whole region. It’s a terroir that might be described as rare, where Château d’Estoublon has continued to lovingly uphold the olive oil tradition since 1489.

Several different varieties of olive are cultivated within the 120 hectares of land that surround the castle. Amongst them are those known as Bouteillan, Salonenque, Grossane, Béruguette and Picholine – each with their own specific, aromatic component.

The modern oil mill allows a maximum of 24 hours between the olives being harvested and pressed, essential to ensuring the best sensory qualities.

This scenario can be described as special because it’s connected to tradition at the same time as also focussing on innovation. And this is where a brand-new type of premium olive oil is created: Château d’Estoublon Huile d’Olive Vierge Extra Bio. An exquisite product in a bottle with an accentuated roundness and a retro feel, sealed with a beechwood W-Mix pourer closure from the Tapì brand.
