{"id":10704,"date":"2019-03-05T12:00:13","date_gmt":"2019-03-05T11:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tapigroup.com\/unkategorisiert\/tapi-allevento-modernizacion-del-tlcuem-oportunidades-de-negocios\/"},"modified":"2021-05-27T10:15:54","modified_gmt":"2021-05-27T08:15:54","slug":"tapi-allevento-modernizacion-del-tlcuem-oportunidades-de-negocios","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tapigroup.com\/de\/news-de\/tapi-allevento-modernizacion-del-tlcuem-oportunidades-de-negocios\/","title":{"rendered":"Tap\u00ec at the Modernisation of the EU-Mexico Trade Agreement \u2013 Trade Opportunities"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p><strong>On 5 February 2019 , we flew to Mexico to the conference on the Modernisation of the EU-Mexico Trade Agreement held at the Ministry of Economy\u2019s Auditorium in Mexico City.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The voices of Klaus Rudischhauser, EU ambassador to Mexico, and Sergio Contreras, Vice-President of COMCE (the Mexican Foreign Trade Commission), kicked off the event which featured case studies of various business opportunities, following the signing of a free trade agreement between Mexico and the European Union.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Luz Mar\u00eda de la Mora, Undersecretary for Foreign Trade at the Ministry of the Economy and Helena K\u00f6nig, the EU Deputy Director-General for Trade, outlined the changes and opportunities for expanding the exchange of goods, the customs simplifications and the new investment measures.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The Global Free Trade Agreement between Mexico and the European Union helped Mexican trade grow by 242%, making Europe the country\u2019s third largest trading partner.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Based on these data,<strong>\u00a0Tap\u00ec sent a delegation, with a presentation by Group CEO Roberto Casini,<\/strong>\u00a0together with Jose Velez, general manager of Interglass; Armando Bonilla, International Director of Grisi; Hector Martinez, founding partner of Grupo Paisano and Edgar Cice\u00f1o,\u00a0 Strategy Director at SAFRAN.
